Updates May 12, 2017

Hi Everyone,

Ok folks, the office is just about ready for operation. We will be calling you over the next couple of days to confirm existing reservations, to answer the phone and respond to emails. Sorry it has taken so long this year, but will a considerable amount of ice still on the lake, we have some time.

We will be posting pictures next week to show the ice conditions as in the past.

Here are a couple of pics from last year. Thanks Chris!

We are stoked and looking forward to the upcoming season at the lodge! Can't wait to see you here!

Cheers,
Brenda

Pre-Season Bookings Updated March 8, 2017

Hi Everyone!

I am working on confirming your pre-season bookings over the next week or two. I just thought I'd post a blog with some updates for 2017.

I will be working from a number of remote locations making sure to get the best fit for your requests. The best way to reach me, until the season opens, is to email me at info@winefredlakelodge.com . Make sure you include your phone number in the email so I can call you back when I am able. You will not be able to reach me at the lodge.

Here are a few teasers from the 2016 season. These pics were scooped up from the lodge's Facebook page. Add us here: https://www.facebook.com/winefred.l.lodge and post some of your own pics from last year!!

Our season opening is scheduled for Friday May 19, 2017. I still have availability for the early season however, some units are booked out on some weekends. Email your inquiries sooner rather than later for best choice.

We have made our first rate increase since 2014. Winefred Lake Lodge has always been committed to keeping our rates as reasonable as possible for our valued guests, and this increase is no exception. Unfortunately, the introduction of the "Carbon Tax" means a little larger increase than we would normally put on our rates and packages. We hope you understand.

We will be attending the Edmonton Boat & Sportsmen's Show from March 16-19, 2017. You will find us in Hall B, straight ahead as you enter from the hallway, at Booth 319. Drop by to see us! (Remember, I might not get to all of your emails while I'm at the show but I will be in touch shortly thereafter.)

We look forward to seeing you at the EBSS or hearing from you soon!
Cheers,
Carol

Important news March 28, 2015

Hi Everyone!

Just thought I'd post to let you all know that I am feverishly trying to catch up on your correspondence with the lodge. Unfortunately, I lost some of my voice messages...technology, huh?

If you have left a voice message over the past few months and have not heard from me, please accept my apology. The best way to get in touch with me right now is by email. You can send your requests to either of these emails:

info@winefredlakelodge.com
OR
winefredlakelodge@hotmail.com

Our official season opening this year will be MAY 22, 2015. Yes, it is a week later than normal.

We have what is shaping up to be another busy season and we are looking for staff. You can email your resumes to the same email addresses above. We are looking for dock hands, kitchen/housekeeping staff and managers.

Yes, you read it right! Gary and I will not be managing the lodge this year but we are looking for some really wonderful people to take over! This could be potentially the best job you ever had. It was for me! But after 6 seasons, our time has come to move on. We continue to work with the owners of Winefred Lake Lodge in their other business in Conklin so, we are not far from the lodge and more than willing to offer our assistance to the new people. If you are interested, kindly forward your resume to either of the email addresses above. And please know that we will be working on behalf of the lodge until we find the right people and hand her over in May. So stay in touch!
