We made it! It's season opening and some very happy returning guests have made it back. We also have some first-timers this weekend and we are sure everyone will have a great time.
The ice is just about gone from the south end of the lake with lots of open water. We are asking everyone to steer well clear of the ice while it's there. It should be completely gone over the next day or so.

Yeehaw! May long starts the season for another year. Hope it's a great year for everyone at Winifred. The aerial photo shows big changes from when I was the dock boy way back in 1993. I look forward to visiting Winifred again sometime in my future...with my 3 young boys to show them where Daddy used to catch the big ones! Great memories :)
